In order to truly take the summer off I'm going to take a break from the diary as well as college. I have no intention of giving up Aries Moon, I value the place it has in my life, but I need the time I spend on this diary for other writing projects. My repertoire needs expansion, and so I am going to concentrate on that for a few months.
I'm also going to adjust my attitude in the wake of the recent changes in the travel industry. It's no fun feeling so angry, defensive, and bitter because my career is not going the way I planned it. I believe I'm flexible enough to thrive in the new atmosphere, but I need to make some significant changes mentally and for that, also, I need a little time off from my old routine.
I plan to resume online entries in late August when I start the fall semester. Meanwhile, I'll probably write in my garden journal when I absolutely, positively have to write something non-linear, so you may check The Windgarden periodically if you like garden talk and photographs of flowers.
