I've been searching for the perfect name for my highly unofficial web design company and I finally chose it. As of this week I own Intaglio Web Design. I've registered myself as Intaglio.org, and I plan to use my own domain name beginning March 1. I was sorry the .com was already taken but frankly, I'm not too concerned about being an org. instead of a .com, since I am a non-profit organization at the moment! I can finally get business cards and letterhead made up which is always helpful when contacting potential clients. It feels wonderful to have a proper name. Just in time, too, as I've signed a contract to do some work for the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Institute in San Francisco.
