It's a 1995 Saturn SC2 in good condition with a peppy engine, black leather interior, a sweet sound system, and only 60,000 miles on it. I was overwhelmed by the generosity of the present. This is going to make my life so much easier. More expensive, but easier.
My recital was as much fun as I thought it would be. Denise Rehse, Lynn Peril, and Trish Homis honored me with their presence, and took great pleasure in my demonstation of pianistic achievement. Afterwards we made drinks and ate roasted eggplant, mushrooms, peppers, and squash. There was a great deal of laughing, storytelling, showing off of Sims and signing of books, and a general sense of the holiday spirit. I'm so grateful they made time for my recital. I truly enjoyed playing for them.
