Because my writing schedule has become so erratic I've put a notify registration on the journal index page. I don't have time to administer another Majordomo list (Archipelago keeps me busy enough) so I'm using Net Minder. They're rather good and they're free.
Tragedy was narrowly averted today when Keiko attempted to leap onto a box with ceramic figurines on it. The box toppled over, and my heart stood still for a moment when I heard a crash. The only casualty was a clay turtle John made in grade school. The rather more expensive stuff from Africa escaped unharmed. The turtle is mending thanks to Super Glue. Keiko is abashed and slinks around.
Today's highlight has to be this entry in our local tv listings in which a typesetter made an error and stuck in an extra line after the final period. I'm dying to see this movie:
