Tonight was my first Human Biology class, and I think it'll be okay. A heck of a lot of work, but okay. Two of the girls from my Algebra class are in it which made me quite absurdly happy. We can sit together and form a study group and all that stuff I haven't done since high school. It is so strange yet so familiar. It is particularly strange to have homework again. My math class didn't require homework to be turned in, but I'm going to have all kinds of projects due in my two science classes. Maybe it's just as well I didn't leap right into some text-heavy course like Sociology or Philosophy. I need to get back into the right mindset for that.
The professor rambled, unfortunately, and had a hard time coming up with the right word she wanted several times. Lectures could be a snore if she is really that scattered since I tend to start doodling in my notebook when my teachers ramble. I get super engrossed in drawing detailed depictions of princesses on horseback and stuff like that, also just like in high school. All right, I don't draw princesses, but I did draw a horse tonight. It reminded me of how inept I am at drawing fetlocks and hocks. Can't get the proportions right. I may, though, before the end of the semester if this professor doesn't get some pep in her step.
